Mineral Properties: Kammererite is a chromium-bearing variety of Clinochlore with a rich purple or magenta color, sometimes combined with green or gray-green Serpentine. It is a soft stone with a monoclinic crystal structure. The stone was named in honor of the Russian chemist A. A. Kammerer.
